- Primary Focus: Supporting Tier 1/2 engineers in the efficient rollout of Internet circuits, complex activations, and writing configurations.
- Responsibilities: Writing and maintaining automated configuration templates, ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving routing issues globally, identifying latency issues, and creating documentation (how-to guides, configuration templates, runbooks).
- Technical Expertise: MPLS, Internet circuits, SDWAN (Viptela/Cisco SDWAN, Versa), traditional networks (Cisco, Juniper), managed LAN and wireless, IP Routing, WAN, LAN, VLANs, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IPSEC, FlexVPN, QoS, Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Zscaler.

- Hardware Engineer: Cisco hardware builds and configurations, ensuring equipment readiness for shipping.
- Internet Dedicated Engineer: Layer 3 configurations, customer activations, standalone and resilient solutions, circuit technologies (E1 lines, Ethernet, DSL).
- Implementation Engineer: Managed services installations (Secure gateway IPSEC VPNs, Flex VPN, DMVPN), "shop in a box" product, collaboration with Design Engineers, documentation creation.
- Tier 3 Implementation Engineer: SDWAN solutions (Viptela, Cisco SDWAN, Versa), global enterprise network implementations, site type template creation, junior engineer support, customer relationship management.
