HIRED - Research Assistant | £13 per hour

Are you passionate about insects and experimental biology and want to gain hands on experience working with an exciting start-up business in Cambridge? If so our client based in Cambridge are now looking for a Temporary Research Assistant to join their team and be part of their exciting future for between 13 and 15 hours per week, and ideal role if you are currently studying as well.

As the Research Assistant you will be:

• Assisting in the research of insect behaviour assays

• Aiding in the set up and maintenance of laboratory equipment

• Helping care for the insects in the laboratory environment

• Keeping detailed records of procedures and results

• Collaborating with team members

As the Research Assistant you will have:

• Prior experience working with animals or insects

• Strong attention to detail

• Experience of preparing reports and recording results

• Highly organised

• Experience of multi-tasking
