Sales and Business Development Manager

A new opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Business Development Manager, with a proactive approach to developing client engagement. The organisation is well established and has been very successful to date however the Director would really love to bring onboard someone with the ability to identify key clients, open doors and build relationships to join them.


Working for this manufacturing business you will have interest in engineering and manufacturing also, the chance to work within a niche industry, that would allow you to become an expert and build upon your knowledge.


The role would require patience, persistence and a strategic approach to selling as opposed to making hundreds of calls as that is not the way that works best.  You will be smart in your approach and be working with the Director to approach specific clients.

As the Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be:


• Proactively targeting key verticals

• Strategically map out your activity and target decision-makers

• Liaise with internal teams to build upon your knowledge of
       engineering to help open doors

• Client engagement and outreach


As the Sales and Business Development Manager, you will have:


• Experience of working in a proactive sales role and
       commercially astute

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• The drive and determination to map out and proactively target
       clients
