This is a really unusual and special Warehouse Supervisor position, offering the right person the chance to use your ability to develop relationships, work with internal and external teams to deal with different.

You will bring your experience of people management, your ability to motivate and meet deadlines, in addition to ensuring a positive, can-do atmosphere.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be:

• Training, developing and motivating your team of Warehouse Operatives

• Monitoring and supervise staff productivity and accuracy

• Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

• Ensuring that all staff on site operate within all current legislation

• Working with Contract Managers and Supervisors to ensure H&S management best practice is applied, report any issues, including accidents or near miss incidents

• Supporting the team to ensure that stock records are kept accurate and up to date

• Ensuring operational activities are conducted in an accurate and timely manner

• Reporting any operational issues which occur so that these can be managed and resolved

• Regularly report on operational progress to the rest of the team and to the customer

• Supporting the Management Team in their regular meetings

• Developing relationships with supplier representatives to aid operational efficiencies

• Optimising the utilisation of all resources across the operations

• Working with clients to understand their needs and any problems to help drive business

• improvements

• Lead, train and develop a team of Warehouse Operatives

• Working to deadlines

• Assisting with H&S

• Receiving goods in, quality checking and putting away

• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch, including loading vehicles

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will have:
