OFFERED - Finance Manager | £40,000 - £45,000

A growing and well-established organisation is looking for a Finance Manager to join their business in Newmarket. 

This is a really interesting and challenging role that will have you using your finance management experience in both the preparing of accounts day to day of about 4 branches (with the support of a team of 3) and input and collaboration with the operational team to make sure that not only is the business moving forward but that it's doing it the input of the finances and how they affect the bottom line.  

As the Finance Manager, you will play a key part in the financial management and work with the teams to get the best results for the business with the support of the Group Finance Director.  

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing their best selves to work and would like to have that family and supportive feel where everyone is working towards the same goal.

As the Finance Manager you will: 

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights to support decision-making. 
• Develop and maintain accurate cashflow forecasts to ensure financial stability and effective resource allocation. 
• Generate internal financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends for management review. 
• Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure their effectiveness and professional growth. 
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring compliance with all financial reporting standards. 
• Oversee and assist in the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to create comprehensive budgets that align with organizational goals. 
• Continuously improve and monitor financial procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations. 

As the Finance Manager, you will have experience of working in a similar role and be used to analysing and working with both internal and external teams whilst using systems to make the most of the opportunity.
