HIRED - Team Leader | £30,000-£40,000

Do you have experience of working within the insurance industry? Due to expansion, our client is looking to appoint an additional team member to their existing Account Handling Team.  You could have experience working as a Senior Account Handler and be ready to take your next step into leading or overseeing a team. Perhaps you are already working as a Manager or Team Leader in the Insurance industry and are ready for something new.    


As the Team Leader, you will be leading a small team of Account Handlers, where you will get to work on your own clients as well.  This will give you the best of both worlds where you can gain and further develop leadership skills, within a well-established and trusted brand, in a unique and interesting sector. 


There is a great salary and package depending on experience for the right person, and the benefits include 34 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), private healthcare and an enhanced pension.

As the Team Leader, you will be:


Perform regular 1-1.s, appraisals, identify training needs and implement

Manage the team’s daily/weekly/monthly workloads where required

Preparing renewal schedules 

Working with incoming new business enquiries and preparing and negotiating new business quotations

Deal with all documentation, invoices, credit notes, etc. ensuring a smooth and trouble-free renewal for the client

Liaise and negotiate with underwriters


As the Team Leader, you will have:


Experience of working in a Senior or Team Leader role within the insurance industry

The Ability and interest to grow and develop your career or looking to your management skills in the insurance industry

Excellent organisational skills
